DIWorkspace is made by Cerca Labs. It exists because the paperwork people most need help understanding is usually the paperwork they least want to paste into a chatbot.
The problem we kept running into
A lab result, an explanation of benefits, a tax notice, a lease, a separation agreement. These are exactly the documents where a plain-language explanation would help most, and exactly the documents that carry your name, your date of birth, your account and policy numbers. Most people either paste it all in and try not to think about it, or give up and stay confused.
DIWorkspace takes the identifying details out first. What reaches an AI model is a document that still makes sense but no longer points at you. You get the explanation; the model gets a stranger’s paperwork.
What we hold ourselves to
Processed, never stored
Your original document exists only for the length of the job, then it is deleted. We keep the clean copy only if you choose to save it.
A model never sees the original
Only the de-identified copy can travel to an AI model, and only when you ask a question. Nothing you upload is used to train a model.
You review before anything moves
Every change is shown to you. Nothing is saved or shared until you have looked at it and said it is right.
We say what we cannot promise
De-identification is a safeguard, not a guarantee against all disclosure.
Being honest about the limits
De-identification lowers risk. It does not make a document untraceable, and we will not tell you it does. A document can still be recognisable from its circumstances even with every name removed. That is why review is built into the product rather than bolted on, and why we would rather lose a sign-up than overstate what this does.
